Nestled in the Schoharie Valley of Upstate New York’s legendary Catskills region, this cabin sits along the tranquil waters of the Catskill Creek and is enveloped by hundreds of acres of state forests.
Inside you’ll discover the stone hearth fireplace, pine walls, wooden beams, and hardwood floors - all original from the 1930s. The exterior siding is treated using the Japanese art of shou sugi ban, giving the cedar a charred wood look and protecting it from the elements.
Hiking, nature preserves, rustic farms, and more are just short drives in any direction. You’ll find unique shopping and dining experiences in nearby hamlets and villages such as Middleburgh, Catskill, Hudson, and many more. We’ve highlighted several of our favorite places later in this guide.
